Forbidden Fruit Winery wins top award for all of Northwest
On may 28th, 2010, Forbidden Fruit Winery received another Superlative Award, "Best of Category" for the northwest with their Crushed Innocence White Peach wine. Amongst the many B.C. wineries competing in the Northwest Wine Summit Competition in Mt. Hood Oregon, the winery is honored to be recognize for their premium fruit wines and grape wines. This award justifies that fruit wines are now being produced with serious craftmenship and that the Similkameen Valley terroir has the perfect growing conditions for top quality fruit wine vintages. The owners, Kim Brind'Amour and Steve Venables are thrilled that fruit wines have finally come of age. The winery shares this award with their professional wine consultant, Dominic Rivard, whom the proprietors claim to be one of the best fruit winemakers in North America.
