Pinot Gris

This lovely wine is made from Similkameen and Okanagan Valley organic grapes. With it’s distinct light shade of pink, this medium bodied wine has wonderful aromas of pineapple, grapefruit, and guava. The palate is rich with notes of pear, apple, citrus, and summer melon. The finish is a perfect balance of acidity and fruit notes. Serve with seafood, light pastas, salads, and with harder cheeses like asiago.

Plum Noir

Our Plum Noir is lovingly crafted from a blend of Asian and European Plums all naturally grown in the pristine Similkameen Valley. Gently crushed and fermented in a traditional style, and aged in oak caskets, this wine reflects the ‘Old World’ traits of a classic Pinot. From its shimmering ruby colour, to its soft smoky aroma, the wine envelops multiple levels of sweet cherries, ripe strawberries and candied plums. A beautiful sugar and acid balance complimented by the underlying plum tannins deliver a unique and sophisticated finish. A remarkably versatile food pairing wine, the Plum Noir serves well with shellfish, poultry, duck, lamb, and creamy cheeses like Brie and Gorgonzola.

Merlot

Our Earth Series Merlot is lovingly crafted from hand selected Similkameen and Okanagan grapes grown with low impact, natural and sustainable farming practices. Bright garnet in colour, this wine has fresh aromas of cherries, plums, vanilla and chocolate, with a soft floral hint. The palate is rich with blackberry, cherry, mocha spice and a soft smooth lingering cassis finish. Very versatile for food pairings. This wine is perfect with red meats, tuna, poultry, duck, soft cheeses and chocolate.

The perfect union between Sauvignon Blanc and Vidal grape varietals and made exclusively from certified organic grapes, this wine is crisp, with aromas and flavours of luscious pinneaple, apricot and fall apples. The clean smooth finish lingers long on the palate leaving refreshing tropical fruit. This wine helps raise funds for sustainability of life on earth initiatives.

Sauvignon Blanc

An elegant crisp wine with aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry, lime, and hints of lemongrass. The body shows a delicate structure with a strong finish. Serves well with oysters, other shellfish, poultry, salads, cheeses, and sushi.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Rich in garnet colour, this wine has a nose of wonderful hints of blackberry, plum, allspice, mocha scented oak and black pepper. The palate is rich with raspberry, bell pepper, plum, and a lingering cassia finish. Serves well with garlic and rosemary lamb, venison, BBQ steak, prime rib, and bold pastas.

Kim & I continue to be proud to offer customers a diverse variety and styles of wine. “ Our winery is like a one stop wine experience”. We now produce 20 wines from dry whites, bubbly, reds to off dry fruit and premium grape wines, dessert wines including late harvest styles, iced wine, Mistelles and Portstyles. There is something for every palate! The farm, Ven’Amour Organics, is almost in full bloom. This time a year reminds us of the unique yearly process of renewal. Now in our 36th year of organic farming, the farm is a crucial part of the winery. Our wines are predominantly made from estate grown organic fruit. We like to remind everyone that we grow over 60 varieties of tree fruits from soft fruit cherries, peaches, apricots, plums to 25 varieties of apples with several choices of pears including the exclusive Asian pears that produce our luscious award winning “Pearsuasion” off dry wine and the famous Impearfection” dessert wine. The organically grown fruit is available throughout the growing season at our on site fruit stand or just give us a call at 250-499-2649 to reserve the fruit for pick up.
